Hello my dear students,
So, I was reading some articles online about which words to use so that you appear more "eco-friendly." This is mostly directed towards companies, however the terminology can be used in other contexts as well. I personally believe it shows how we as a society like to rationalize and lie to ourselves and others. From the many articles that I have read and the many projects that I have worked on I have only found one way to really be "eco-friendly." Consume less. It seems to me that no matter what we do we will produce some type of waste. That, in and of itself, seems to be quite natural. On the other hand, in excess of waste will poison the world we live in. We are execessive beings for sure. What's your take on it?

Food for thought
Dear students,
Welcome to my blog. I would like to start of on a positive note so I will begin by talking about something that I find educational and helpful in my life; Chinese proverbs. They seem to bring a certain mysticism wrapped in wisdom. Allow me to post two that are related to education. Please read them and then comment on what you think the ancient masters intended for us to understand and how you interpret the proverb. Enjoy!!

- A Jade stone is useless before it is polished; a man is good-for-nothing until he is educated.
- A closed mind is like a closed book; just a block of wood.
